How I Use Market Samurai for My Keyword Research
Step 1: Opening Page

I selected “dog training” as main theme. I entered the phrase at Keyword: area. Once you enter the phrase, Title: area is automatically filled.
I wanted to know the statistics of the theme of “dog training” in the U.S. only, so I went to the drop-down menu of All Countries and Territories and selected United States. Then, I hit the Create button.
Step 3: 9-Module Area
Now you can see the full view of the modules Market Samurai offers. For this purpose, I select Keyword Research.

I usually check #1 and 2 besides the default settings. One cool feature of Market Samurai is #3 Phrase Length. Because my selected theme “dog training” consists of two words, so I want to know its related keywords that consist of equal to or more than two words. I selected 2 from min: drop-down menu. Then, I hit the Generate Keywords button.
Step 6: Enter the CAPTCHA
The software goes to Google Keyword Tool and try to collect data, so you need to CAPTCHA text just like using the real Google Tool.
Step 7: Fetching Data
The time of gathering data usually takes within a couple of minutes.
Step 8: Edit Unnecessary Keywords
In this case, Market Samurai generated 864 relevant keywords to the theme of “dog training.” Then, you go through these keywords and remove the phrases that you think unrelated to your needs by clicking the cross mark indicated by #1 in red on the screenshot below. After you finish editing, you click Analyze Keywords button (#2).
Step 9: Start Analyzing
